Throughout the term, the children have been learning our daily routines, helping them feel safe, settled, and confident in their day. This has included choosing and enjoying snack together, encouraging independence and social skills as we sit with friends and staff.
Messy Play Magic π¨π¦
We love getting messy! The children have explored playdough, paint, water, and sensory materials, letting their creativity run wild. Messy play is a wonderful way for children to learn, explore, and express themselves.
Pumpkin Fun & Role Play π
Autumn brought lots of excitement as we explored pumpkins β scooping, touching, and investigating inside and out. Our pumpkin patch role play area sparked brilliant imaginations, with children shopping, harvesting, and pretending together.

Weβve been supporting children to explore emotions, helping them to recognise their feelings and understand those of others through stories, play, and everyday conversations.
Role Play & Building Big Ideas ποΈπ
Our role play shop was very busy, encouraging communication, turn-taking, and imaginative play. Children have also enjoyed construction and building with a variety of resources, developing creativity, problem-solving, and teamwork.
Winter Wonders βοΈ
Snowy play has been a real treat! From exploring real snow to winter-themed activities, children have been fascinated by seasonal changes.
Our Under 2s in the Snug πΆπ«
Our youngest children in the snug have had a lovely first term. Theyβve been exploring natural materials in the garden, sensory experiences such as custard, water, paint, and edible snow, and learning to move in different ways. Theyβve also enjoyed settling into and exploring their new room, alongside lots of singing, dancing, and scarf play.
